I'm very interested in your mapping software and I'm trying to get some information about ambicom compact flash gps that are packaged with pocketmap navigator. There appears to be two versions of this unit. Here are links to them.

Ambicom CF Pro version:

Ambicom "regular" version:

The Ambicom CF Pro appears to have a full version of pocketmap navigator while the other version indicates a trial software.

My questions: Does the pro version include a full version of pocketmap? If so, can I upgrade to the 2004 version, and how much will it cost?

The pro version includes a full version of pocketmap. You can upgrade to the 2004 version for $30 from http://www.pocketmapstore.com/ponausa20r3u.html

I purchased the Ambicom CF-Pro and then later upgraded. I am very happy with this solution. If you have an questions, please feel free to E-Mail. The only thing you should know, that I wish I knew is this: the serial numbers you get for PocketMap lock PocketMap to only work with the Ambicom card.
