Both pc-cable.com and pocketmapstore (http://store.yahoo.com/pocketmapstor...ca4rofor1.html)
have cables for under $ 40 -- but no power for either unit. Netsupply.com has one with power for both at $60. I know I saw one somewhere with power like netsupply's for way less . I'll post when I find it again.

I'm interested in looking into GPS for my Ax, however I am hoping for something more portable, a CF solution. Does anyone out there have any experience with CF GPS cards? Their response rates, battery drains and the like?

Read through the posts here, look at the reviews on the review section. There is a lot of information on CF cards.

I am going to close this thread. It was intended as a "welcome to the GPS Forum" thread when I first opened the forum, and I should have closed it to posts then, but I didn't. Now most of the posts in this thread should really be in the main forum, so I'm closing this to any more posting on just this thread.
