HELP is urgently needed!!

I have a 2 year old X5 and use the Pharos CF GPS system. Since I am a real estate broker in Baltimore Maryland, I use it daily and am very disappointed with its performance. Although it is more accurate than our weather forecasters …it ain’t much better. I’ve actually had many negative comments from customers riding in my car.
It seems to lose its signal often, get confused frequently and give wrong directions, announce turns AFTER you’ve already passed them and generally just piss ya off.
Are there any REALLY GOOD systems out there that will work with my CF receiver???

I too use the Pharos GPS on my Axim X5. It was given to me as a gift. I've been very satisfied with the GPS performance, but have been disappointed with the pharos ostia software that came with it. Route re-routing when you wander from the planned route is pretty much useless. Searching for a road or street is pretty useless as well. Around here we have a lot of county, state, and interstate routes/highways etc and some are names highway #, hwy #, route #, rt # etc etc and unless you enter exactly which one of those the route your are looking for has been saved as.... you aren't going to find it... I've played around with the demos from Mapopolis and really liked them - though I don't want to fork over that kind of money right now....

OK, so I'm not alone! Anyhow I went to the mapopolis site and downloaded the program, which is frr. Then I downloaded the demo map which is good for nine days. I think you misunderstood the cost. The program is free. Yoy only purchase the maps you use and its very inexpensive.....
