For a CF unit, I like the GlobalSat BC-337. Excellent performance, small form factor, and very reliable.
GlobalSat BC-337 Compact Flash GPS Receiver (SiRF III) (PCMCIA Adapter and Ext. Antenna included) - CF and SD GPS

As for BT, there are lots of models available, and they will all do a good job for you. Check them out for price and size.
Bluetooth GPS - GPS Hardware & Acc.

For software, there are a few choices. Find one that has features and an interface you like and make sure it's compatible with your PDA. I currently use iGuidance and overall while I like it, it is provided on a copy protected SD card. Problem is that they only offer it on a 2 gig card. While they have a SDHC 4gig, that card does not work on the WM5 Axims. Check out the bundled packages there as well.

Use the code "summer 15" (without quotes) for 15% off through August 15.

You can look at handheld GPS units too if your looking to save money over a full on auto GPS unit. Hand helds are more portable and most will fit in your pocket. Also, picking up some software for GPS if you have a laptop to load it up on is a really affordable way to have seriously detailed navigation for right around a 100 or less.
