Anyone use thier GPS for yardage golfing? What software do you recommend?

I don't think that GPS is accurate enough to really be used for golf. Most of us would like to be within a few yards... I am not sure that GPS can give you that.

I use StarCaddy. Works very well. Great for finding distance to hazards or distance required to clear a hazard. Also good for distance to green when you venture into areas of the course that don't have yardage markers (which I do more than I like to admit).

The accuracy appears to be quite good. Always very close to the yardage indicated on the markers.

I wish StarCaddy had more features for tracking your game and for scoring different types of games, but I do like using gps when I play.
