BC 307 - This old chestnut again!

Okay I've read the threads on other user experience with this but I'm new so hang in there!!

I'm using Pocket Streets 2005 with the Globalsat CF device. When plugged in, PS shows only COM 1 to 4 none of which relate to the 307 (no com 5 even after soft reset). Is the com port only allocated once the GPS has acquired signal or should it be churning out NMEA streams 'til lock? Does PS recognise this 'garbage' info and report it as such or will that cause a COM error? I haven't installed GPSinfo yet so will this allow me to allocate the com port preference within the CF card or does it purely diagnose.

Oh yeah, works fine attached to a laptop.

:) Never mind, did a hard reset and it sprung into life - then thought about a bluetooth card I installed a week ago, must've been a conflict - I assume that different CF cards can co-exist on a system and be swapped around as required?
