How can I fully delete maps off my axim. I have pharos pk038 gps and I went into the software and delted them but the memory left on my axim has not changed (internal memory) also how can I erase all the memory on my sd card? This is sooooooooooo frustrating thanks for all the helps

this is normal that software still exists even after unstalling. I guess they think 'in case you install back...'. Simply use your axim's file explorer, go to Program Files on your main memory and delete them. They still might be some dll's, which can be removed manully by resco registry editor or automatically by a program such as pocket mechanic. I always think that M$ leaves some stuff on my com or ppc, so I every now and then format or hard-reset my device. Good luck.

I have a remove programs option but i do not want to un install the gps but just the maps i have installed. I do not see them in my remove programs list I only see the pharos software. Also is there away to erase the memory on my sd card. Thanks for your help.

To erase specific files from your SD card, go into File Explorer and look for the maps. Tap and hold the file names then select "Delete". If you want to delete everything from your card at once, reformat it using a utility like Pocket Mechanic or using a card reader/digital camera.
