I have just downloaded software for my axim x50 which shows the position of speed cameras. Is there any software which can detect hand held laser cameras using a GPS system. I am using Dell GPS Navigation System.
Ok - this is urban legend I dunno if it actually works, but apparently, you can detect speed cameras with your Nokia mobile phone. Set it to 'closed user group' mode and set the code to 0000. When you come near a camera, you get a 'message alert' sound..

Think I'd stick with "urban legend" on that one. :)

Hi, may I ask where you got this software, is it easy to install. I have a X50 with teh Dell GPS navigation system?
Have a file of speed cameras (piggy banks) in various formats.
I downloaded the CSV file, and after a bit of rearranging in Exel, was able to diplay them on the Memory-Map Pocket Navigator software, have not tried the proximity alarm function yet though.
