iGuidance file missing: iGuidance(Q)Vga.exe, please help

Hi

So i installed iguidance before i left the city.
Apparently iguidance.exe deletes one of the files iguidanceqvga.exe or iguidancevga.exe
Since I switched it deleted both of those files, hence i cannot run the app any longer.

Can anyone pls pls pls send me one or both of the files, so i can copy it to my PDA from my brother's comp, as i dont have the access to my iGuidance CDs right now, but need to use the program now.

Pls send it to ababkin AT gmail DOT com
don't need any other files

Thank you
Alex

Bumping this thread since I badly need this one file as well, iGuidanceVGA.exe (...VGA display executable). My version is 2.13 and I didn't know that switching from VGA to QVGA will delete the original file that was installed in my Axim. I'm depending on this and im here in Montreal going to other cities as well. Please if anyone can send me this one file, I am trully greatfull to you all. My email address is apaustria AT hotmail DOT com

Im lost like a puppy now and most of my homeworks(place to visits) are stored under the favorites in the IGuidance program.

Thank you very much again.

There are 3 .exe files.

The main one, which is the shortcut you use, determines which version you need to run (QVGA or VGA)

Then you have 2 exe files QVGA and VGA.

This is common I think as mine always did this. Just delete the shortcut from your start menu. Go to the installed iGuidance directory and find the VGA version (you can launch it to test it if you want).

Just make a shortcut to directly link to the VGA version in your start menu. Done. Later.

If you are registered, pull it from anywhere in the world from their website.

Please don't ask for copyrighted files here. I'm sure you are using an original copy of iGuidance and you can always get the files you need from here,

I don't think they make the application available for download. And the download section only has files for up to 2.1.3 anyways.

Anyways, call home and get someone to email it to you. Next time, make a backup of your system and keep it on the SD/CF card (with iGuidance installed to main memory). Then you can always reinstall if you run into problems.

I think the OP's problem is that he's out of town and doesn't have the disk.

Ahh That Sucks!

I remember I used my GPS (Iguidance) to Drive from CT to D.C and I was touring.. I turned off the Axim and I needed my CF card forsomething, but forgot to shut down Iguidance.. Well my Whole PDA Crashed (hard Reset) I was so pissed, But the Good came out of it, I learned D.C Streets without the Aid of GPS now, It's a Peice of cake!

And that was a Day when I did not have the Iguidance Disk with me as well.

I believe the 2.1.3 upgrade download from the website is the full install file.

Borrow a computer and download the latest 2.1.3 release from iGuidance website. It has a full install for the PPC inside, along with map loader and PC version. Then you'll have the entire program and it's free to all registered users. Since you're running the latest I'm assuming that you registered your software.
