Hmm axim x50v w/ Dell GPS-> Change Region?

I created one map region to the SD and another map region to the CF. When the GPS app(netropa/navteq) starts it keep opening the map region on the SD card(california). When I navigate and try to change region it doesn't show the region from the CF card and I can't enter it either. I can use both CF and SD for other PDA tests so they are OK.

So, the question: How do you make the GPS software open a region on a specific/other card in the PDA?

T.I.A!

The Dell nav software can only open maps in one default location. What you can do, if you want to use the space, is copy the maps on the SD card to a different directory, then copy the maps from the CF card to the original location on the SD card, overwriting the previous set. Then when the software opens, it will still open the default files, but they will be the other maps, not the CA ones.

I have the Dell GPS. I have Rev A00 unfortunately, however yes it does have Canada maps. Rev A01 (additional $99) is supposed to have lots of updates over the first.

See more here: http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-DellNorthAmerica-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewStandardCatalog-Browse;pgid=vl9Ia000h3k000EE47cwAkEC0000czz_KHSL?C atalogCategoryID=jtoKCggQwl8AAAEE3LJvz8Eq[/HTML]]Navteq A01 maps

BTW, are they still selling Rev A00 or A01 with the Dell GPS, anyone who has purchased one recently??
