I got my iTrek talking to my laptop via a D-Link BT dongle on the first try. With both iGuidance and S&T it works like a charm.
What version Windows? Do you have SP2?

Just to update: I learned that when you buy S&T 2006, the PPC version is 2005 and doesn't have the voice navigation feature added to the 2006 version of the Windows version.

I installed PS off of my S&T 2006 CD. When I open PS and go to 'Menu' - 'About' it says version 2006, not 2005.

I would recommend TomTom 5, Mapopolis, and Oncourse Navigator 5. If you plan to travel within California only, then Mapopolis is the cheapest solution because you need to buy California map only. While others ask you to pay for the whole US Map. Mapopolis has trial for 15 days. You can download it off its site to try

From what I have heard, it's pretty much identical to what you get on the PPC.

HEy I found the cable! haha I forgot I left it in my other Subaru, must of been in the car for at least 5 months now, which is about the time I've had my Axim now and stopped using the laptop for gps.
