TomTom 5.10 + US maps.

Is it possible?
I upgraded to the 5.10 version on my x50v and I lost all my maps.
Can't keep the version 5 (memory leak problem).

Any one can help me please?

The maps should be on the CDROMs.

Yeah, should have no affect on whether maps can't transfer over anymore. Is it a legal copy or a pirated one?

I have the same issue. If I re-install 5 the US maps are there but as soon as I apply 5.10 patch they go again.

The European maps are fine !

Could it be the PNA file which show the map version ?

That's a very unusual problem. You guys might want to email the makes of TomTom about this.

I've been using TomTom5 for 3 days on my PDA and it's working pretty good.

It is known that version 4.x maps hacked to work with TomTom 5.0 will no longer work with TomTom 5.1.

Go to Semsons or Storage Media and purchase a legal copy of the software.

Who tells you that I'm not running a legal copy?

I'm frequently in Europe (I bought the 5th version there). and I was running the US version here in Canada.
I don't want to spend $$$$$ for maps that I allready have...
