BT startup and shutdown procedure?

When I was researching GPS, I read over and over about the Dell BT problems and how you have to start and shutdown in a certain order.

Well, now that I finally have my GPS and software, I can't find those steps. And sometimes I have a really hard time getting my GPS software to sync up with the GPS. Usually I have to reset toe Axim.

Would anyone mind telling me the steps to get the BT devices to play nice? If it matters, I have a BT-338, x50V and IG.

Thanks!
Aaron

I always enable BT and establish the pairing BEFORE I start the GPS application. I always do the reverse order when shutting down, but I'm not sure that makes as big of a difference.

I agree with Gigi.

Using x30H; bt-338; and OCN5 start up:
  1. Turn on BT-338
  2. Turn on BT on PPC
  3. Start Nav s/w

Shut down in reverse. :approve:
