I'm on the phone with Dell now to see if I can still get this deal. It seems that if I beg a lot I can often get coupon codes out of their employees at the call centers ;)

Eh. This is a good deal. It still wasn't good enough to upgrade my x50 to an x51. I suppose it's a good deal if you didn't have either. Thanks for the heads up.

Normally these deals happen when Dell doesn't realize that the coupons will stack. They change the coupons once they realize their error.

They couldn't do it - I tried to call them and they offered me $35 off the $399 - not even close to the 30%.

What a crock.

I tried to order one last night. It would let me put it in my cart, but it wouldn't let me pay. I left it in the cart with the thought that I would pay out this morning.

This morning they had removed it and put $1,300 TV in my cart.

That's lame Dell...
