Gosh. If it weren't for rebates, there are a lot of things I would not own. I think rebates are definitely a good thing. For the most part, if you follow the directions and keep back up copies of everything, you should be ok. I have never filled out a rebate that I did not receive with little to no effort on my part.

I have never had a problem with rebates, either. It's just that I would rather have the price I pay be the final price and do away with them altogether :)

A friend went to get the $99.00 computer and it was sort of a rip off according to him.You had to build it in store,order it and pay $99.00 shipping also.The total cost before shipping was over $500.00.You then had to get several rebates.Just not enough sugar for a nickle.
