On all my rebates I make 2 (two) additional copies of everything on one form.

If I don't get it back--I will follow up w/ the copies.

I almost got in on this deal but after hearing of all the rebate troubles I decided not to. If you are looking for a 32MB SD card, go over to Amazon.com and get the SanDisk 32MB SD for $9.99. No rebate hassles or anything.

Guys I work at staples and heard of these rebate problems too..

What you do is bring it into the store manager with copies and yell at em about how it got screwed over..

My manager immediately refunds the rebate there :)


BTW: Scare em and say "Im a mystery shopper"

or say

I work for staples corporate and I know for a fact that we have sent memos to all stores telling employees and managers to give the best customer service possible..


Theyll start freaking out cuz its all true :P

Since you work for them, what seems to be the problem with the rebates to start with?

If your rebate for the $30 gets denied, call customer service for rebates and ask them why. Once I told them which product it was they explained that they had a glitch with this promotion and I would get my check without having to submit anything further.

Staples has always been very good about rebates and they are in this instance too.

What did you say to them? I don't have my reciept or anything, I sent that in.

I told him that I checked the website for my rebate confirmation (got the URL from the email they sent me) and that it said the UPC I sent (and it gave the UPC code I sent them) doesn't match the UPC I should've sent. In fact, the two codes were identical, so it was a stupid mistake. He asked for my name & address, put me on hold for about 5 minutes, came back and said he fixed it and I should be recieving my rebate in 6-8 weeks.

All they need is your name, address, and phone number to confirm, no reciept or anything like that required.
