I was talking to her earlier and she said she could do this deal, and I asked if I could share it with others. She said ok. Just call her up and tell her that you want the $289 (2 battery + warranty) deal.

Is it worth it to get the CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service for another $35? Or is the standard 2 yr good enought in most cases?

if it replaces the item in case it is damaged due to user fault, yes I guess it is worth. 35 over two years is how much, 1.5?

ok, just got a call back from Shannon, and this deal for 2nd battry + 2 year warranty is not correct. She claims the person misunderstood [ Lee, in this case :) ].

So she said the price is 289 for just the axim. But if you buy extra accessories, she can then get the price of the axim down to 264 (or 260, I forgot). 2nd battery is $89, and my cell phone was cut off before she was able to give the price for 2nd year warranty.

So, at 289, I don't know if it still is a good deal.

I called Shannon as well and she told me the same thing as ccblanket stated. The $289 price is for the Axim X51v ONLY, not with the 2nd battery. Also, the 2nd battery is in back order, which will delay the shipment if you order it.
