reality tv comes to aximsite...
i need memory. After i have done the looking around, i decided it would be best to get a card with at least 256mb. sounds like the compact flash cards are better quality and cheaper, but of course that takes away your flash for other stuff. But i dont have other stuff and dont see myself getting it anytime soon.
So, here is what i have found. 1 gig for about 160 bucks shipped, or 256mb for 52 bucks, both from dell. I plan on using them mostly for mp3s(a lot), movies(not a lot) and whatever else i come across.
So, i will let america decide what i will buy. which of these should i go for, or is there a better deal out there? Join me in my struggle to find the right memory for me. Cry and laugh as you watch me in my triumphs and struggles to find the perfect memory. Post with enthusiasm knowing you will decide my fate. I will have this memory for the rest of my life you know, its a big deal!

Hehe! It was an easy decision for me to go with the 1 gig CF :). I don't use that slot for anything else. For me it was worth the money to not have to carry the extra cards around. You can get a 512 mb SD card, but that's gonna run you around $300-400. If you don't have a lot of accessories that go in the CF slot, I would say go for the CF :).

Absolutely go with the 1Gig card...you will not regret it. The 256 cards are nice to have also, but there will come a day when you will need that extra storage space. I bought a 1Gig card a month ago thinking I would never come close to filling it...I no have "only" 165 MBs left on it after storing 36 CD's on it. Hate to say it but I will probably get another one to keep only videos and movies on it.

if you can afford it, go for the 1G. I bought two 256 SD not too long ago, thinking it should last until the end of the year. Guess what, I need addtional storage NOW.
