I haven't tried the PQI card. FWIW, a number of aximsite.com members have tried the both the ADATA and Transcend 150x 4GB SD cards. Both of these cards are about the same price as the PQI card from zipzoomfly although the Transcend requires a $30 rebate.

I have a 1GB PQI SD card and it works great. I would love to get my hands on one of those 4GB cards. Nice find!

Adata 4GB SD is available for the same price from Zip Zoom Fly

I just ordered mine for my x51v. I'm expecting it to be fully compatible. I will let everyone know.

I emailed PQI regarding compatibility with the X50v..here is his reply.. .

[COLOR="Orange"][COLOR="Blue"]1. Check with your device manufacturer (card reader/camera/pda/camcorder) to see what is the maximum card capacity the device can support, i.e. some device cannot support 4GB card.

2. This card comes with FAT32 format, which is not compatible for old devices. So please also check with Dell and see if it supports the FAT32 format.

I believed it should be compatible since other users has used a 4 gb memory card with fat32 format.

But any user's experience regarding the PQI card would be a great help.

Thanks.

My A-Data card arrived yesterday. I ordered it from zipzoomfly, too.

Some users have speculated that the A-Data and Transcend cards use the same silicon. My benchmark results do not contradict that. Anyway. The card works just fine in the x50v. It is also a much better known quantity than the PQI and other cards because a relatively large number of users bought this card.

I seem to recall PQI have had a reputation for being slow, and generally "cheap". My memory may be wrong, or PQI may have improved.

However, like you say, it should be compatible.
