They are the same ones, I think... but since it's from the Canadian branch of Buy.com that means for Canadians the price is $8.99 CDB, no exchange rate, no international shipping, no duty.

Not true! There's a thread around here (sorry, bookmarked it at home) that describes how to get it to work with the X30 (which I have). Very likely will work with other PPCs as well.
I looked at the adapter - its got a funny interface + audio jack with 3 sections of signal connections. It will be very interested to learn how it can be adapted to Axims or other bluetooth devices.

Anyone try to get them shipped to the US. Buy.com in the US wants $24.95, which would be OK, but that's after a $50 ripoffbate. Do you Canadians have to deal with ripoffbates, or is your government ethical enough to protect it's citizens from such frauds.
Rebates in Canada are even worse (most of the provinces 7% GST 8%PST), but this item is now CAD$7.99 on ca.buy.com and free shipping, no rebate required!

With the Axims, you don't need the adpater interface!! Right now, they're selling at $7.99 - 5% with free shipping. I just ordered 20 (e-Bay, here we come, lol). Finally, where buying stuff in Canada is cheaper!
Thanks for the heads up!
Oh hey, if someone could post the links on how to get these working with WM2003SE and WM5.0 (using the different BT stacks), that would be great. Thanks.
I have mine now... haven't set them up on my X30 yet, but the dongle comes with a little extension cable that allows me to plug them in to any audio source. (Only the volume controls work that way though... need direct BT connect for the track +/- controls to work)
I am wearing a pair, listening to streaming audio right now. It's the ipod model, but I'm not using the ipod dongle (but I could, it has a 6-inch extension). Works with X50/520 WM2003se. Bought from www.woot.com last week. This week's deal was the "mp3" version, with the standard dongle (no ipod connection) and no control over tracks. This pair has skip forward/backward buttons, volume up/down (controls volume on the headset itself, not your PDA), and a button for on/off/play/pause/find me.
The sound is best with the dongle. I use it when listening to higher-quality audio. , and I use the broadcomm update's High Quality Audio profile when listening to low-quality or talk.
To get it working with WM2003se, press and hold the center button (on/off, etc) for 10 seconds, until the light next to it alternates blue/red. Start your bluetooth manager, search for the headset (High Quality Audio or Explore a Bluetooth device), select the headset, discover services, select the HQA profile (also called A2DP). Then you will need to enter the passcode 0000 (four zeros). You should be good to go.
I wish I could get another pair for that price! I would make a BT stereo bug that I could use with my surround system at home so I didn't have to trip over wires to get rear channel speakers.
