OK... I remember seeing something about the Secure Digital slot not being SDIO. What does that mean to me exactly? Is it read only? If so that would mean you can only read from a memory card in that slot? Or, if I had a memory card in that slot can I read from and write to it?

Thanks for any info.

SDIO is a standard that allows the SD slot to be used for I/O devices like wi-fi, bluetooth, serial, etc. The Axim (as well as most current PPCs) does not support that new standard. You can read and write to memory cards in the SD slot just fine, but you can't use the slot for those other purposes.

Fortunately, Dell included a CF slot where I/O is supported, so you can put a memory card in the SD slot, then use the CF slot for all that I/O stuff.
