http://shop1.outpost.com/product/3625855/

Did you try ebay? Often times you'll find UK sellers there.

Thanks for your help.
Now this looks interesting...
Compare this card : http://shop4.outpost.com/product/3625855/
with this one in the UK: http://www.moltengold.com/cgi-bin/eBzget5A.pl?shop=shops/20/60/MyMemory&trolley=6601231540¬empty=&page=http://www.mymemory.uk.com/Unbranded_Products.htm
Identical except for the missing Panasonic logo. Could this be the same card I wonder, because I would be tempted to buy it? What do you think? That also looks a good price to me....but then I'm a noob to all this.

Thanks, I've checked that out but it doesn't sell 512mb sd cards.
I've ordered a new Panasonic (These work with the axim) 512 sd card for £150. ;)
I'll let you know how I get on if anyones interested.

www.ebuyer.com - I've bought 2 128 SDs and a CF from them - good service and prices. I'd recommend Toshiba SD as the most reliable (made in Japan) so far. :)

I would second ebuyer. They currently have 256MB SD's (simpletech) back in stock @ £64.30 plus postage.

....or you can buy a Panasonic 256 for £50 at the same place from "Our Man in Hong Kong". I've just bought a Panasonic 512 sd for £150 from him. He's reliable and quick and keeps you well updated through email. Just check out Panasonics prices....£150 is a bargain. ;)
If there's something you want, check him out here:

Dabs are about to get some more stock of the Lexar 256Mb 32x card. From what I've heard, the 32x Lexars (10MB/s) are all Japanese made (Panasonic sourced I think), and therefore problem free (no dodgy SanDisks!). The Dabs price is £56, which is cheaper than you can buy a SimpleTech card from eBuyer for!!
I tried Kenneth Ho, but his price for a Panasonic 256MB has gone up, so I will probably go with the Lexar 32x from Dabs.

correction
Sorry, got that wrong - the 32x Lexars are more like 4.5Mb/s, not 10. The SimpleTechs and Panasonics ARE 10Mb/s though (at 256 and 512mb sizes at least).
