With a little patience and big help from Axim fellows (like Kierne), you will be amazed how much money you can save on software.

I got a 15% off handango coupon code from an Axim fellow and put it in good use not long ago.

A tip from another Axim fellow about two weeks ago allowed me to buy Pocket Informat for free after rebate.

Now I only spent $3.46 on FlexWallet.

Thanks to you all. :) :D

:D Thanks for the tip! I had tried out FlexWallet and liked it, but I was going to try out other software before buying. At $3.46, though, I'll take it!

I spotted this one on another Pocket PC website. I wish I knew where they were promoted at, though. Seems like all you can do is just keep your eyes out for them.

Some places to check frequently:

www.techbargains.com

www.fatwallet.com

www.hotdealsclub.com

Caveat emptor on these -- I saw a deal for a Dell P4 box for $350, helluva deal, only to find that it was a pricing mistake and they didn't honor the order. The real price was $500 -- 40+% more! And they wouldn't honor the listed price (fine print on the order confirmation) :( Others are out of stock or not available by the time you read them (there are MANY people scouring these lists).

Most deals seem OK, however...

Looks like the deal is only a $5.98 discount now. Total cost is 13.97, still a pretty good price.
