The lite version is still great. I have talked with the developer. This is more a hobby than a business for him, so he doesn't need or expect millions of sales. It's a shame that the new full version is priced so high. I personally know it is worth it to some people (me) but some people will shy away at that price.
Some of us were lucky when we got the old version 4.14 free, and then were able to use it to upgrade to the new version for 33% off. This program is one of the first I install. Have to have it. It saves me cash, I suck at a real check book.

That bad thing is. You can't install on a CF/SD card, so it "eats" up some 4MB :rolling:
So long ago I uninstalled my bought 4.14 version.

Actually, since I have the Compact Framework installed and SQL 2.0 installed I don't lose 4mb. I understand if people are installing only for this program, but that isn't my case. Also, Microsoft will be adding these programs to ROM next time so programs like this one won't seem as bloated.
There are definite advantages and disadvantages to using Compact Framework to program, and this is certainly one of the drawbacks so I am looking forward to them fixing it.

The version you get from this link only gives you a 28 day trial version - but coz its a mistake with the coupon code they honour it by sending you a link to Version 4 Lite. - Still not bad though and great customer service

Was this really a mistake or just a marketing crap?
I mean, if I didn't know about the coupon, and just bought the software out right, will it expire on me also?
As Handango's confirmation letter stated "this is a full version, and no registration key is required"...
That means I didn't need to hear anything from MSS, since it's the full version already, right?
That makes me conclude that this database error code is BS.
They probably knew it all along. So now, if you did download it, they will have your email to offer you the "lite" version. I guess, just another way for you to try their software.
