2.2 GB Quickdisk CF Type II for $199 - Would it work on the Axim??
I tnink this would work in the Axim..............

"US Modular’s QuikDisk is a 2.2GB rotating media device that writes (saves pictures and data) faster than CompactFlash. It is very lightweight, portable and compatible with any Type II CompactFlash card or Microdrive slot. NOTE: QuikDisk is NOT compatible with a Type I CompactFlash card slot. It is ONLY compatible with a Type II CompactFlash card slot, ATA, PCMCIA and Microdrive slots."

I believe that the type II CF slot in the Axim would handle this.

Would someone post if this would or would not work in the Axim.

Thanks
On Ecost.com in case the link does not work

Yes, the X5's slot is CF type II. However, there have been compatability issues with the 2.2GB Microdrives and 2003. I haven't heard of any issue with this specific brand, but I wouldn't be suprized if it was produces by the same people that make the Magicstor drive (which is the one with the 2003 issue), just with a different label. Do a search for Magicstor on this site, and you will find many threads which talk in detail about this problem.
