Micro Innovations keyboard $30
Starting tomorrow, at CompUSA, you can get a Micro Innovations (same as Pocketop) wireless keyboard for $29.99 + tax!!!

$99.99 - $20 instant savings - $20 price break - $30 Mail in rebate = $29.99

But don't ask me what the difference is between instant savings and a price break!

For the same price, you can get a number of Ambicom products, like a CF modem, cf wi-fi card, cf bluetooth card or a bluetooth USB adapter.

PRETTY COOL!

Hopefully the deal will also work online tommorow, since the nearest CompUSA is a two hour drive away. :rolling:

It's tempting for $30, but I saw one at Radio Shack and it looks very small (ie hard to type on).

BTW, the sale ends 2/22/03.

Rebate?
Did anyone else actually buy/order one? I ordered online, but cannot access the rebate... I keep getting an error message when adobe opens the pdf ---- any suggestions? alternate methods of obtaining the rebate (besides going to compusa-it's a 45 min drive on a good day--- add an hour because of the snow lol)

I got a rebate coupon at Compusa - register coupon @ checkout

But, I also was able to print the PDF from their site too

You can get the drivers at either pocketop.com or MI-products.com

Same driver at both sites

I purchased one and I have to agree that size is a trade-off. I've been using virtual keyboards on PDAs for many years and computer keyboards longer than I care to devulge. However, I am able to type using this keyboard faster than I could using the stylus. I purchased it because there may be instances where I need the speed or I have to enter a lot of data. There will also be times I must let my significant other use my PDA to enter data. She can type a lot faster than I can and her hands are much smaller so I expect the keyboard will work great for her and well enough for me.
