No dice at two local Walmart. Although I am still hopefull, because WalMart is opening a new store right down the street from where I live in two weeks. I'll have to go first day the store opens to hope on getting this deal

I have been looking for this WalMart deal ever since I read this Thread. I've searched two WalMart's ..... NO Luck !!

Then, walking through a WalMart yesterday I noticed Secure Digital Cards hanging on the corner of an isle. THERE THEY WERE. I had been looking in the wrong place. I have been walking into every WalMart I pass and heading directly to the Digital Storage Cards on the shelf. There not there, you see, i've revisited the WalMarts i've already been through and have just walked up and down the isles in the electonic departments and low and behold, they still had them.

So, check out the stores again, you might get lucky. I bought two and immediately put them in my Axim x3i ........ They work great.

Can you tell me in which state(s) you manage to see these cards?

So far, people has reported seeing these card in Hawaii only.

I live in Ohio, and have visited 3 different WalMarts. I was unable to find these cards at the first two I stopped at. Then, I went into a WalMart in a rural, farm community, and they had a whole slew of them. I guess farmers really have no need for them.

I then stopped back at the first two WalMarts, and walked by the shelf display of cards and started walking the isles. That's when I discovered that I had been looking in the wrong place.

I was in a Walmart in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay -- Pleasanton) today (01-17-04) and they had the cards 128MB SD cards for under $25. There was at least half a dozen left, but the ones at this price were above the counter, not by the rest of the SD cards.
