AmbiCom 802.11 Compact Flash WiFi

I AM NOT SELLING ONE>>>>JUST A HEADS UP FOR ANYONE SHOPPING

Usually this card sells for $99.99 at Comp Usa, this week only for presidents week it is on sale for $29.99 (after rebate)

$99.99-$40(instant savings)-$30(mail in rebate)

You will have to pay $59.99 up front but get $30 back not a bad deal...I was actually gonna get the netgear card, but I am very happy with the ambicom, great on batteries, fast and reliable, easy set up and install, recognized my network right away, not configuring to do at all, and it is nice and small, doesn't block the earphone jack like the D-Link...

Great deal..Get it fast as I am sure they will not last

I picked up the last one on the shelf in my local store today after work. Haven't tried it with the Axim, yet, but will after finishing the boards.

Good to hear your positive report.

Jeff

The "fine print" on the flyer I saw stated that the sales price was good through 02.22.03.

$30 rebate must be postmarked by 03.08.03.

What do you think of the card? The size, software, etc. There are 8 at a store near me, well 40 miles away. I would like some imput on the card before I drive out there.
thanks

well so far i have been using it for 3 days now, and the battery life is great, as for size, it is small and slim and fits great in the slot...Much nicer than the bulky d-link card, as for the software, theres really nothing to it, you install the driver, pop in the card, and it does the rest, the card read my network, i did not have to do any configurations...definetly a great buy, and a great card

Louie

Thanks! I just picked one up at Best Buy, They price matched! I paid 29.99 total no rebates to mess with. Works great. Thanks again, that was just the deal I needed.

damn good deal...I didn't think they'd price match on a rebate usually they won't you must have had an awefully stupid manager.

I did that with my sandisk SD card. If you go to http://www.costco.com/frameset.asp?trg=subcat%2Easp&catid=79&subid=2109&hierid=2255&log=&NavTop=

They have a 256mb card for $68.99 not a bad deal. But you ahev to have a membership to shop there which is $45 a year or some crap. So I just went to best buy with the link , and the manager opened up the web page and price matched plus gave me another 10% or something (10 or 15 I forget) their policy is notprice match it is match and beat.. Hence the name BEST buys...

Glad it worked out for ya ....Later
