Canadian sites for buying stuff

What are some good Canadian sites for hardware, software, accessories, etc?

I have an Axim in the mail and am looking for stuff for it. WriteShields, memory, key/thumbboard, and mobile charger are just some of the things I am looking for.

Or would it be better to go to a US site and deal with the cross border shopping hassles. I made a mistake of buying my Nikon CoolPix from a US site. The dealer was great, any warranty work is not, it has to go to the US for that (real pain)

Good call. I'd forgotten about Borderfree.

I wish that some of the case manufacturers would retail in Canada. I can't find anywhere to buy the top-quality flip cases from EB, Sena, Vaja, Covertec, etc., and the exchange, shipping, and taxes really add up. Anyone had any luck?

Just found this site, which mentions Canada prominently: www.expansys.us. They ship by UPS Express, which I believe would take care of duty costs. Anyone tried them out?

Russ

WHatever you do, don't order stuff from the states! I ordered some WriteShields and ended up paying $12 duty! Blimey!

http://www.handheldcanada.com/ is probably one of the best you could use - they have *amazing* customer service and are very competitively priced.

Other than that, there's http://www.factorydirect.ca/ who will sometimes have good deals on CF cards and SD cards.

But that's really all I know of - I'm interested in checking out eCost now! I'd like to see BorderFree expand a bit more - there isn't much listed there. But hey, it's something! :)

*DO NOT* use UPS to ship from US. Sure they'll handle the tax for you in advance, but you'll still end up paying for it -- this is true regardless of which courrier you use. The reason why you shouldn't use UPS is because they charge an exorbitant amount for 'brokerage' fees. A friend of mine bought something for $5USD, paid his duties, etc.. Guess what he had to pay for 'brokerage' on top of duty? $15 CDN, and I kid you not! These brokerage fees are variables, and nobody's able to figure 'em out. You should get them to send via USPS or something, which charges a flat rate.

Cheers.
