Dell Canada Prices

I'm looking to by an Axim X5 advanced with some options (WiFi, extra battery). I have priced the system on Dell Canada and Dell US, and after converting from US to Canadian funds, buying in the US is MUCH less expensive! (About $300 difference) Also, there do not currently seem to be any rebates offered by Dell Canada.

Does anyone know how I can [leagally] benefit from the lower prices available in the US?

Do what I do - Call up Dell Canada and quote the US prices. Tell them you want the equivalent - but remember, the US exchange is still around 1.62, so take that into consideration before you make *any* decisions... then let us know what happens!

I got my TrueMobile 300 card for the US pricing, so I see no reason why they won't do the same for other products.

HTH,

Nick

It seems to be at banks, but the last charge I received was on my Visa at 1.645

However, checking VanCity (the bank I use) - it seems that you're right, the exchange is at 1.5... woohoo!!

Gonna have to be buyin' more stuff from the states, I guess! ;)
