Just checked my order at www.directcase.com. Site says my credit card will not be charged until the case is shipped. Makes things even better. This deal looks like it will beat the others in total price (including shipping), and unlike the others it shipps from the US so I won't have to mess with import duties. If they ship by 3-25-2003 as the site targets, this is going to be one sweet deal.

Just a follow up on my rhinoskin purchase from directcase. They shipped last week on Wednesday. I received it yesterday. Very nice case for my purposes. Looks like it will protect the unit very well. Easy to hold in my hand, but maybe not so if I was a lefty.
Now I need to find a better way to store my Ambicom wifi card. No room for it in this case. I might have to break out the torches and welding rod....

Rhinoskin Arrived
I got my rhinoskin today. It is very nice and fits perfect with my Axim. It even came with a free stuffback.com sticker which you can register and if your pda is lost and returned you get it back. (No that will not assist with the non-honest people) but the honest ones may call.
The case is a very nice look and I am very please so far. I did have a problem with the latch but adjusted it and it seems to be working fine.
The delivery and order process was quick and I love ups tracking numbers because you follow its delivery
My family calls it my James Bond case!!! Too bad I didn't get my name engraved on it
All parts of the Axim are accessable however; you have to use the usb to dock the axim. I was worried about the door and being able to play games but no problem at all. (I am right handed don't know how it would work left handed)
Well off to help my daughter study for a drivers permit, missed passing the last test by 3 points so mom gets to study too!! I must be getting older I don't remember not passing a test being so devastating.

Hopester (or anyone who has the Rhino Skin Case),
I was curious if the Axim is easy to remove from the Rhino Skin Case for cradle syncing? Or is it more of a "once it's in the case, leave it in the case" situation?
Also, does the case have any sort of "belt-clip-ability"? I know that the Rhino Skin Case that a friend of mine had for an older Palm was simply a smooth metal case, with no belt clip, however, they included for free a pouch-type nylon case that the metal case could slip into. Do they still include something like this?
Thanx for the info!

Rhino case features
You can easily remove your axim from the case. Very very slick it is made to come in and out . It slides in and out from the top but, don't get me wrong no way will it fall out. And not a fear of scratching as it has a protective covering on the inside.
As far as a belt clip I do not know of one but you could always contact the company. Let me know if you find anything for a belt carrier. I do not use one as I carry mine loose or in my purse but know people who would like one.
thanks
Kelly

Thanx for the info Hopester!
I've been trying to decide between the metal box type case and the leather slipper type of case. However, I've been leaning towards the metal box. Not that I want to carry it on my belt all the time, but the capability to do so would come in handy from time to time.

Does anyone know if the rhino case will hold a CF 56k Modem (ambicom) on the inside...?

That Synthetic Clip Pack Case is the exact case (or at least it looks the same from the photo) that my colleague received for free when he purchased his RhinoSkin Case a few years ago for his Palm. I would definately purchase the RhinoSkin and Synthetic Clip Pack if it wasn't a total cost of $55.00 plus S/H. Perhaps a package deal could be arranged.... :D

Speaking of the Synthetic Clip Pack Case, which one fits the Axim RhinoSkin best? The small or large?
