Has anyone had any experience with the PharosGPS system? A trip to their website gives a video demo of their unit -- looks impressive and is reasonably priced.

I sent Pharos an email asking if their system is compatible with the Axim but have not received a response....guess they don't want to sell me one.

Or perhaps someone has used another brand they'd like to share some info about --- pros, cons, likes, dislikes, etc.

Anyone????

There are more gotchas in GPS software than would fit in a dozen posts. In short, all are very far from perfect. All have advantages and disadvantages. You should spend some time at www.gpspassion.com.
