Hi, first post and I'd thought I'd post what I've discovered about the Axims and stackable coupons.

The 25% off Dell Elf coupon works on the Dell Axim X50 not the Axim50v. The $35 off coupon that the OP is talking about works for the Axim X50v and not the Axim X50.

The weird thing is, the reason why the 25% coupon works for the X50v is because through the customization [URL=http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=x50624&s=dhs]here[/URL] , the X50v added to cart is seen as a X50.

If you add the X50v to cart through a search from the front page ([URL=http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=5061YR&c=us&l=en&cs=19&category_id=2999&page=external]here[/URL]), you add a preconfigured unit to your cart, which is seen as a X50v.

So through the quirky ways that Dell is working, for the X50v, you either use the 25% off, or use the $35 off with the default 15%.

499 - 25% = 374.25
499 - 15% - $35 = 389.15

I really want a new PDA since I'm still using an age old black and white Palm but I'll pass till it drops a bit more.

You can probably use the $35 with the 25% off if you add something else to your order to get it over $450. Like extra battery, case etc.

i can use the 25% off x50v from the normal dell home page... you just go to customize and you say add to cart and it works

yup, if you read the coupons, they actually tend to say "for x30 high or x50" not x50v...., however on some pages the high is listed as just an x50...

The 25% coupon and the $ coupon won't work together. They are mutually exclusive. Also, the $ coupon works only when you go through an affiliate link and when you are going through the affiliate link the % coupon won't work.

The 25% off coupon works with all model of X50, including X50v. I have bought one X50v for my friend using one of those 25% coupon.

IMHO, I don't think the X50v prices are going to go much lower than this. With a 25% coupon, you can get the X50v for $375. This might be the best price we will see for some time. Of course, I could be wrong, Dell could always lower their prices still further, but it seems very unlikely considering that X50v is selling like hot cakes and Dell's prices are way less than HP's. The lowest price I have seen for a X50v was when Dell had this 30% off coupon in November.

i didn't use an affiliate link, straight to dell. i also used a stright dollar off coupon to bring it down to 363 after tax.(i also got the travel sync with it...)
