I just barely purchased my Sandisk 256MB CF card for my Axim at Staples. Their price was a whopping 139.99 for the thing but because of their 110% price-match guarantee I showed them the price on PCMall.com (89.99) and they dropped it to 85. I also found a rebate offer on Sandisk.com for 25 dollars off a 256MB CF Card so when all is said and done I will be recieving this card for under $60 (Well, over if you count the stamp needed to send in the rebate form, lol)!! I urge you all to do the same at your local staples. I had no problem getting the discount whatsoever. $60 is a good prices for a 128, and to find a 256 for one I jumped at the chance as should you. Happy Shopping!

Maybe I missed something - which rebates form did you use? I looked on Sandisk's site & couldn't find one for Staples. I saw the one for if you had bought it from PC Mall.com you would get a $30 rebate. But you purchased it from Staples, right? So you would need a Staples related rebate.

I thought about just purchasing it from pcmall.com for the $89.00 & then submitting the $30 rebate to get it for $59.00, but then I realized everything from pcmall had to purchased before 12-31-02, so I wooould miss out on the $30 rebate.

Tell me if I overloked something because I would live to take advantage of this deal!

Thanks,
Shannon

I thought the same thing at first, but when I printed out the rebate and form it said nothing about being valid at particular stores. I don't know much about it, but both 25 dollar rebates (there are a couple on there), look exactly the same, and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't take receipts from other stores. I mean, either way they are selling their product and there is no fine print on the rebate form. It simply says to include your CF Card's UPC code, the receipt for it, and the completed rebate form. I think (hope) that it doesn't matter, but it is a little questionable as to why they have multiple offers of the same rebate on the site. I guess I'll have to send it in and see. I guess $85 isn't bad for a 256MB CF Card, but $60 would be great. I'll let you know if any trouble arises in the mean time concerning the rebate.
