you need to add something to make the price greater than or equal to 500 bucks. i added a 10 pack cd-r (you can add the dell leather case if you want).

final price - 369.01 free shipping/no tax. great deal.

This is not the best deal unless you do not pan to have a cradle and what ever else comes standard with the X50v, if you want just the PPC then hell yeah go for it!

I don't think that's true. X50v comes with all its standard accessories that you would normally get while ordering. There is no difference in it. At the last screen when it shows all those cradle, cable, etc. they are just additional accesories that you may want to buy. Otherwise, your X50v order will come with one USB cradle. Refer to the [URL=http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=68336]same thread [/URL] that I posted earlier, where couple of people have raised the same concern and towards the end of the thread, someone finally got it clarified from Dell.

Dell doesn't do price matching? I ordered my Axim about 2 weeks ago, and now I saw the price drop. So I called them (connected to India, I think) and asked them to give me credit for the price drop. They said they can't do that. So I just placed the cheaper order and sent the other one back. Doesn't make any sense....

The best deal is of course on the X50v but rasputinj.com also has a link showing a $20 off coupon for the basic and a $45 off coupon for the mid. I tried to use a Dell concession coupon along with this when I placed my order but it will not accept both coupons. I guess I will just have to use my concession coupon on a separate order for a memory card. Got the x50 mid for $294.15 plus tax and free shipping. Dell charges sales tax in my state. Just couldn't swing the extra $70 plus dollars for the V(also extra sales tax). Actually the basic was all that was in my price range but I stretched it as much as I could to go with the mid. I was a little concerned about the battery life on the V. I know you can buy an extended or extra battery but that would have put it even more out of my price range. Maybe I'll look again in a year and buy the X-500-H with the new hologram projection display! Well, it could happen.

my personal opinion, i think the extra money is worth it because the x50v will outlast the mid with the vga screen. so the useful life of the product is extended. longer time before you have to upgrade. well that just my own personal opinion and anyway you cut it, these axim's are great. thanks to OP for the great deal.

Did you really do this? I tried using the 65 off (i had over $500) but it said it wasn't eligable because the discount can't be combined with the 15% off.. I tried every coupon code i could get and not a single one worked so ended up paying $470 (that was with the leather case and accidental damage plan)

I tried all the coupon codes and all of them are working fine as of now. I guess now its already late, but these coupon codes are affiliate coupon codes and so either you need to go through an affiliate link or you can read post #5 in this same thread, where I have mentioned about how to add Axim to your cart so that you can use the coupon code.

Go back and try the coupon again but as the previous poster said, you HAVE to click through the site that mentioned the coupon. Go to [url]www.rasputinj.com[/url] and click on the deal. While you are at the site be sure and write down (or right click and copy) the appropriate coupon code. Click on the deal and it will take you to Dells site where the coupon WILL work. I hope I'm not too late to help.
