I just bought one through the Dell deal today. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to read up on it, but, I remembered this site from a search I did about a year ago, so I came here to read up quickly on accessories,etc.
I decided to not order any accessories figuring since it is Sunday today I could probably call tommorow and get them to edit my order to add stuff (figured it would be harder to get them to remove stuff).
So, I will probably be spending an hour or so going through to figure out whether or not any of the "Dell" accessories are worth getting. It seems like from a quick ebay search and from a search here that all of their accessories can be gotten for a better price elsewhere. I was going to order the screen protectors since I didn't want to have to wait for a seperate order to come from elsewhere before using it, but, I am glad I read here that the Dell ones aren't that great (I think I will order the boxwave crystal ones.. but, I need to do some more research)
I am pretty excited, and I will probably be a long term member here. I posted the aximsite information over at redflagdeals.com (where I found out about this deal).
My first foray into PDAs was back in 1995 or so with a Palm Professional... I still have it lying around here and use it for my contact information!

You were wise not to have ordered your accessories from Dell. Take a look at the Members's Discounts as well as the Hardware/Software Bargains forums for some good deals.
an axim bought from dell canada will be exactly the same as one bought from dell u.s.a., correct? i really want to jump on this deal, but i want to make sure that everything on my today screen won't be in english [I]and[/I] french (or anything like that)... :-D
I'm pretty sure the "Canadian" version of WM2003 is just the US version sold in Canada...so you dont' have to worry about any dual languages on your today screen, unless you like to write your appoitnments in french on your own :P

I bought mine from Dell.ca and it definitely does not have French on it.
