I just ran down to my local Staples and picked one up for $29.94
They still had a few hanging on the rack.
Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and get another ;)

If you got in on this deal, please look at this thread at FatWallet. People are saying that their rebates for the PNY 32MB SD cards are being denied.

I went to Staples last night. Rebate is for the SD card, not the Smart Media card.

SD card costs $39.99 so it is not free with the rebate.

Buyer beware!

Actually, there are rebates on both, and if you read my post above, they have them marked incorrectly, but they ring up at $29.99.

hey guys...just wanted to let you all know about my experience with Staples =P hehe.

Well, first off, they act like they don't want to hook you up with a good deal. In actuality, the rebate does exist for a PNY 32mb SD Card. I paid $32.74 after tax and one of the sales associates printed out a rebate form for me.

BUT, it was the wrong form!!!! So, before you send out your rebate form, make sure it's the right one. These people can't do anything right!!!! They gave me a form which said you had to purchase a PNY 128mb AND 32mb to get a $30.00 rebate. THIS FORM IS WRONG!!!

Make sure you get the one stating a purchase of a 32mb with $30.00 MIR. (aka the links posted above)

So, go grab your free SD card today!!! =)

I think i must have gone to the same EXACT store. The sticker first said ohh its 39.99 and I argued with the guy and he finally looked it up sure enough i was right. Then I went ring out. . . the rebate didnt print so they had to manually find it. 30 mins later the guy comes over with the form for the rebate. Sure enough it was the "buy a 128 get a 32 free" I told him it was teh wrong one he said thats the only one they have. SO I made him look again and their computer crashed on them. GO MS!! another 30 mins goes by and the computer is done rebooting (must have been a -286 or something) and the guy goes the print the right one after finally finding it and prints the wrong one again!!!. an hour and 40 mins later i walked out with my SD card and THE WRONG rebate. Make sure they give you the right one if not just print it out at home.

Why not just use the link to the rebate form provided in this thread?

My local Staples did not have this particular rebate advertised either. I didnt even bother asking them for them to look for it.
