I can't get it to work through Dell Home... I go to the cart and try to apply it, but it says the coupon code is invalid.

Any ideas? I'm ready to buy one of these if I can get a good deal on it!

It is not a coupon code. Its an E-value code. Go to Dell's Home & Home Office home page. On the right frame, you will see..Browse our Products, scroll down, shopping alternatives, scroll down, advertised system. Here you will find the place to enter the E-value code that "61iwon" has given in his post. This E-value code will automatically add the 2200 mAh battery and 3-yr exchange.

Just ordered under this deal. $382.44, delivered with tax. Applied a $30 off $399 coupon I picked up on EBAY. X50V with an expanded life battery, 3 year warranty, games pack, and added one year accident coverage. I think that's a pretty good deal, no?

Looks like a better value than the refurbished X50 that I'm returning (no restocking fee) for which I paid $266.70 delivered. The X50 had only one battery, no cradle, and just a one year warranty. My plan is to sell the Axim on EBAY once I return from a long summer trip, and I'm hoping the X50V will hold up better on resale than the refurbished X50.

Deciding factor was trying to read an E-book on the X50, and thinking that there was something wrong with my eyes...looking forward to the sharper screen.

I managed to convince my wife that this is an awesome deal and so I finally took the plunge and decided to jump on this great deal.

oh msa6, after summer, they probably would be close to, if not already, releasing a new pda, so ebay-ing it now might be better. just a thought.

Just an FYI everyone, on my receipt from Dell it lists the coupon code as: "Expires on 2005-05-13 05:59:59"

So you have a few days at least to use it...
