Yep, I bought one a week or two ago when I thought for sure I was getting an NX. Then I started staring at these Axims because they're cheaper...

It's really an Intel 2011b wireless card or something like that, and supposedly it'll work on the Axim. Not sure how though. Guess if I ever get an Axim I'll be on here bugging people about how you do it :)

Anyone know the compatablity with "war driving" apps, like PocketWarrior, etc.? I know they're only supposed to work with Prism chipsets, but sometimes there are exceptions...

66.99-50 could potentially make it 16.99--you should put that on the title.

So far, this card does work on axim - you need to dl the drivers on intel's page first, which will work fine to connect you up.

If you want to war, then apply socket's dirver on top of intel's driver, and then get winc.

Hey do you know the card is available online at bestbuy.com or would I have to visit a bestbuy? I can't seem to have it ring up at 66.99...

what i had to do several weeks ago was go into best buy and order from the website from the little kiosk in the store. they had it for $66.xx with a $50 MIR for a total price of $16.xx. they backordered it and i'm still waiting on it. it's been a long wait, but i don't even have an axim yet.....soon though :D there's a rebate for $50 on bestbuy.com that's good through june sometime i think. [url]www.sonystyle.com[/url] has a rebate form as well if you purchase it from somewhere other than bestbuy.

awwww too bad the price went up to 130... at cheapest 100. Anyone knows of a cheaper price??

try what i mentioned above. go into your best buy and order from the kiosk......it may be cheaper in store. it always says $130 on the bestbuy website from my house, but it was cheaper instore kiosk. remember too that there's a $50 MIR.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I tried my local BB and although they had the card in stock, it price checked at full price. I also tried the "kiosk" thing, and no luck. Must have been a mistake all along!
