Targus 56K CF Modem @ Best Buy

I went in Best Buy today and the Targus CF 56k Modem was marked down from $99 to $59. Great Deal if you are looking to have a modem on hand for those places without a lan/broadband connection. I tried it with my friends dial up ISP and it works great. I also have the D-Link 660W wireless CF card and the a Hawking Technologies CF Ethernet card (Get on Buy.com for like $27). All the cards work perfectly. I love this Dell.

Does that come with software that you need to install? -Shawn

No additional software needed for the Targus CF Modem. The Axim will recognize it when plugged in and the choice of using it will be available when creating the dial in connection.

I also found the Targus modem at Best Buy and it seems to work perfectly. The really good news was that there was a $20 mail in rebate form knocking the effective price down to $39! It pays to shop around!
