I have a Belkin F8T020 CF blutooth adapter. My PDA's usb interface has malfunctioned and the only way to install the driver is through copying cab files to an SD card and plugging it into the PDA. I cannot use Activesync at all and the driver installation utility doesn't work if the PDA is not connected to the desktop.
I read the above post on installing the widcomm stack to the PDA. Can someone email me the cab files from that stack (I have a PPC 2002 machine, toshiba e740).
My email address is tayyib@yahoo.com
Thanks
Tayyib
ps; i have Blutooth Manager.PPC300_2577.cab but I think I need another couple of files to make everything work.
Thank you so much for your message and drivers on this website. I have an Axim X5, which at first I thought was Bluetooth enabled as it had a Bluetooth icon in the connection settings. I purchased a Bluetooth GPS receiver and was surprised to learn that it would not work as there was no Bluetooth hardware installed on my PDA.
As I had a spare slot I purchased a Belkin CF Bluetooth Card. Copied over the software on the enclosed CD and of course it did not work. So thanks once again for the drivers you've listed.
I'm still having a problem getting my Tomtom 5 navigation software to recognise the bluetooth gps receiver and I'm getting the message "No GPS Receiver". Any thoughts?
I have an Axim X5 basic Model, Belkin BT CF card F8T020 and GPS Receiver. Thanks to Eugenia the drivers work perfectly. At first, could not get TT5 to work until I discovered posting from Buton that recommends you configure Tomtom to use "other Cable NMEA GPS". Then all works together very happily. Read FAQ's in the tomtom website regarding pairing Tt5 with Bluetooth devices.

Thanks Kauffer for shairing ur experience. I too have Axim basic with PPC2002 and am thinking of F8T006 model (cheaper one is old out). How much memory did the BT CF driver takes? Basically I will be using with my Routis GPS s/w which is picky about memory?
An online friend actually had the drivers in his PC and so he uploaded them to my web space and so everyone can now download the drivers and have the Belkin F8T020 BT card *work* with PPC2003/SE. Remember, the following instructions are for PPC2003/SE only. For PPC2000/2002 the CD the F8T020 comes with includes native drivers.
1. Make sure that *no other* bluetooth drivers/managers are installed on your PDA. If you have installed other BT stuff there is a good chance that if you follow the following steps you will need to hard reset your PDA and lose your data (the two drivers collide and crash the PDA on boot, soft-reset doesn't fix it). So, before continue go to the 'add/remove programs' panel and make sure no other Bluetooth drivers or managers are installed.
2. Download and install this freeware registry editor program on your PPC:
http://www2r.biglobe.ne.jp/~tascal/download/pocketpc/tre_e.htm
3. Download the following text file and IMPORT it to your Registry using the above pogram:
http://www.eugenia.co.uk/belkin/Bluetooth.txt
4. Download these drivers:
http://www.eugenia.co.uk/belkin/TECH0850_Pocket_2000_2002.zip (5 MB)
5. Place the Bluetooth card on your PDA, connect to the ActiveSync and THEN install the drivers.
6. After the drivers have been installed, soft-reset the PDA.
Voila, you have Bluetooth, with a working Bluetooth Manager, via the Belkin F8T020 CF card on PPC2000/2/3/SE. And if you need it, here's the illustrated documentation:
http://www.eugenia.co.uk/belkin/DOC_TECH0850.zip
IMPORTANT: these drivers are good ONLY for the "rounded corners" Belkin model F8T020 (picture). If you have the rectangle "F8T020 version 2" (aka F8T006, picture) then these drivers are not for you. The F8T006 has its own, native PPC2003 drivers on its CD.
I have to say "Thank You" for this post. I just bought the Belkin F8T020 for my Axim X5 and everything was freezing up using the drivers that came with it. I ended up doing 2 hard resets before searching this forum for answers. Everything worked as advertised in your post.
Yup the driver works fine. Even if u dont import the registry. But u will have problem with your foldable keyboard.
After import the registry it will solve this problem.
My problem is after connect with my Desktop computer and using the internet trough it. Then shut the power off. The power button wont start. Unless we soft reset :(
Hi,
Thanks for your info but the links to http://www.eugenia.co.uk/belkin/Bluetooth.txt and http://www.eugenia.co.uk/belkin/DOC_TECH0850.zip are not available now. Could you help me to have the files?
Thanks.

I must be thick but I can't see how to import the text file, nor have I been able to work out which part of the illustrated documentation to attempt to follow

I have removed the Belkin driver files from my site as I moved to another ISP. Download the drivers now from RapidShare: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
