so his claim is that he has a friend who is a programer for the company and he gets the licenses for $1 apeice. he is reselling them for $4 and making a profit with a kickback to his friend.

i guess it's a plausible story. i might go for it and try out a $30 game for $4. still don't have my axim for another month or 2, so i may not even know if i got screwed for a while.

worst case scenario....i get screwed out of $4 and i pay for the retail version.

we'll see.

I can't imagine a software company would allow employees to resell they products for much less then what they are charging.

i actually enjoy aoe. i played it when it first came out for windows, and followed it through all of the expansions and upgrades. it would be partly nostalgic and a good time waster.

are they developing civilization for ppc?
