i tried using this coupon ?Q2VH66VGW$R0W
which is supposed to give you a 40% discount in any notebook
over $1299

I read the details and it said "May not be combinable with Outrageous Deals, mail in rebates, dollars off, percentages off, or select other promotions"

Most of the notebooks (600m, 700m, 9300) have instant dollars off discounts.

Is this coupon intended to use only with old notebooks??

Some coupons can only be used a certain number of times. If the coupon code you were sent was a generic one sent in an email posting, it could be limited to only around 3,000 uses. Dell does that quite often. You will need to check the fine print on the coupon code to find out.

it havent expired

when i used it it said it didnt apply for the current selection.
so i was wondering with which laptop will work because i tried with a lot of them
