Dell AximTM X50v Handheld are featured for $449. I wonder if I walk into a Dell Kiosk, do you think the will give me a better deal. I mean that proce is really good, but you never know. I live in Ajax ON.

I baught one 3 days ago (August 28), at full 599$.
Is there any chance that I can call customer support and ask for an adjustment? I meen, I did not even received it yet and it's already 150$ lower than I baught.

I would at least try to call for a price adjustment. If they say no, just cancel the order and reorder.

I've ordered a few of my Axims through a Dell kiosk and did in fact get a better deal. Those reps are on commission just like the ones who pick up the phone. It can't hurt to try. Actually, I would try both methods to see which one turns out being better. :)
Or, I could ask if there could give me WM5 CD and a SD flash, to compensate.
Dell kiosk? I did not hear about it, is there one in Montreal area? Is it like you can go over there and buy stuff directly there?

I did call CS and they told me that I must first wait to receive shipment, and they gave me a case # so when I call back, they can follow on the same call case.
I saw the numbers to the Square One kiosks somewhere in these forums and now I can't find it. Thought I would ask them the number to the store at Scarborough Town Centre.

Seems like they changed the proce too - $454 but it now includes the Windows upgrade to 5.0.
Thanks Gigi - I went to Scarborough Town and tried to bargain them down for the x50v. They said that their was such a low margin on the sale price $20-30 that they couldn't bring it down anymore. They were giving me free shipping though.
:attention An idea - I was wondering if anyone has tried buying in bulk. Like if we could get people interested in buying Dell PDA's together at a mall and get a better price.

I just bought the x50v today for $399.99 on dell.ca! What a deal! Since it was so cheap, i opted for the 3 year, complete care extended warrenty. I cant want to get it!
I bought mine about 3 weeks ago for $449. I notice that with the Windows Mobile 5 "upgrade" that the "regular" price has jumped up by $50 to $649. At least it's now on sale for a significantly discounted price!

It was $454 under K-12 education. I guess I should have looked at the deals first. I just picked one up. Too good an offer to pass up.
