I have a little problem myself now. I want an x50v from USA, but I live in the UK. How can I buy one from USA and get it to the UK? I do have relatives in USA, but the shipping and customs will be so expensive (the "sale" price at the moment in UK is £304 down from £314, what a saving! Yeah right.)

£304 is about $560 USD, btw. Are we Brits being ripped off or what?

EDIT: Oh, and $278, the price you can now get it for with coupons in USA, is about £150.

I had the coupon from the top of this thread in my dell account "saved coupons". Unfortunately by the time I tried to use it, the 1000 use limit was reached and showed up as expired. Please Advise... Is it better to go ahead and purchase the $418 deal which includes the extra battery and 2 year warranty (which is a good deal) or wait for the next 25% off coupon? I just found out about coupons this weekend so I'm not sure how often they have these great deals.

IMHO, I'd wait. With the x51v coming out soon, they may be trying to move some inventory with the x50s... Just keep checking and buy quickly when the next one comes out. I doubt this one will be the last. But then if you can't wait...

About a month ago, they had a bunch of the 25% off or $120 off. The coupon above was supposed to expire the 7th of this month (or 1k uses). Maybe around then there'll be another one out. I watch these sites for coupons and deals... I can't remember/find the other ones.

Dumb Question. I'm interested in the "deal of the week" for the x50v that comes with a 2 year warranty and extra battery for $418. Do the deal of the weeks really only last a week? If so what's the start and end date for their week (i.e. today is sunday so is the price good thru saturday)?

As far as I know they've been like that for at about at least 2 months. That's when I started looking at them and then finally bought mine a little over a month, although I bought mine with a gps at that time and it was 35% off.

other people who've been around here longer probably have a better idea on how they change, but I assume they'll have those deals for a little while yet. At least until the x51s come out, and then they'll have deals on those given time...

now this makes me mad... i JUST bought an x50v a week ago for $370 including shipping and all that with one year warrenty and a 128 MB card and now i find out for less i coulda gotten so much more!!!!

that sucks. My friend bought one with some accessories for 520 a couple days ago. Then I found the 25% off coupon on another site, and so he cancelled his order and reordered the same thing for 408. Same thing happened to him when he bought a laptop a couple months ago...

I hate that when I wait to buy something and then when I finally do, it goes on sale shortly thereafter.

By the way, have you gotten the axim already? I'm not sure about dells return policy, I thought it was like 30 days, but I don't know the details... It might be worth the extra money...
