Sigh this is going to be long, I'll go into futher detail once I get home but the 210 is better than the 110 as it is the high end version of it & better than the iPod touch given the screen size, power, expansion, 3rd party freedom, PIM & Office creation/editing, E-Mail handling , buttons & customization.
Though I can say the 110 is cheaper & the iPod touch has more memory out of the box.

I dont understand what the debate is. Its like comparing a Stereo to a TV. They are built for two different purposes. The nice thing about the ppc (ANY ppc and not just the hp 210) is that their functionality can exactly mimic that of the ipods, and do so much more. Like i said, the ipod is a toy, the other is a tool that can also function as a toy if need be
That's pretty much it ya, Apple has a huge fanboy following and it's trendy to have an iPod now, which makes up for a solid half of the iPod and Iphone sales I would assume.
Anyone that takes a look at the pros and cons would, if they were smart, buy the 210, but I'm sure someone would argue "What if they only want to listen to music?" Well why spend so much on an iPod then, even walmart has like 15 diff mp3 players now other than iPod. It's the name..... The touch is clearly inferior. Maybe a touch with WM6 and some Ram to complement the large hard drive...oh and a removable battery....memory card slot....expandable battery options....bluetooth....ya that'd be nice

No doubt, the Ipod Touch is the most elegant media player around, however, since both the Ipod and Pocket PC devices can play media, the critical question (for me) is whether the Ipod Touch can do the basic "PDA" work that the Pocket PCs can do.
Can it do the following WITHOUT having to be hooked up to the internet:
1) Create document files (compatible or convertible to WORD...or at least RTF)
2) Create Excel-compatible files
2) Create calendar dates with alarms
3) Create 'To-Do' lists
4) Upload and run 3rd party software applications
Little old, but just thought I would throw out the most recent yes. The iPod Touch can now be used as a full-featured PDA and jail-broken it can be even more.
Yes you can open documents and now with third party software you can edit too.
With the 2.0 software the iPod has become everything WM is and more.
