HTC Advantage and TrueVGA
Dear all
I have just got a HTC Advantage. Having been a loyal x51v user for sometimes. I installed the mvrtruevga on the HTC and it worked fine although some icons are not displayed properly. I wonder whether you have similar problems with other tweaks.
Also, which type of Themes do you use on the truevga HTC? ordinary vga and qvga themes are not displayed correctly.
(sorry for posting the same questions in another thread. I was accessing the aximsite using the HTC and made a few mistakes).
This is a brilliant machine and a good replacement for the x51v. I don't use it as a phone but the push-emails and internet access plus GPS are just great. I am looking forward to do some proper word-processing once I get used to the keyboard.
Many thanks
Lang

Axim51v Dell GPS BT332 and Software on HTC 7501
Well after a bit of trial and error I finally got the OLD software/hardware
from the 51v installed and running on the 7501.
The software will only allow you to AUTODETECT on Options/port
setting and I haven't hacked the software as of yet to allow me
to set it to the internal gps port com 5@4800 baud.
The settings are (mine works 100%) Star/Settings/System/
External GPS/Programs(NONE)/Hardware(COM 0 @ 57600 baud)/
Access(checkmark-manage GPS automatically.
As I said works 100% on my 7501.

I use TrueVGA from xda developers and haven't noticed a problem. I use it on the largest setting, 192dpi.

Hello, which software do you use to set the HTC? I use the mvrtruevga. This does not allow you to set the dpi. I understand that you have no problem with themes. Do you use vga or qvga theme? also does your comm manager screen look ok? This is a great machine. I am using it right now to type this msg. Please help. Many thanks.

RealVGA
Hello again,
I went to the xda developer site:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327830
I see that there are 2 files to download one for the RealVGA and one for the 96 or 128dpi. I do not see a file for 192 dpi. Is it a setting from the 128 dpi?
Please point me in the right direction.
Much appreciated,
Lang

Tomorrow when I'm at work I'll look up the TrueVga files for you.
