Mobile mounts 7500-01

Has anyone bought a proper mobile mount for their HTC Advantage?
I have mine on Velcro but am looking for a better way to do it.

I bought this mount from ebay. It's big enough to fit the Advantage even when the case is on, and it's cheap.

I'm torn between the Proclip mount system, and the Tomtom Car Kit for HTC Advantage X7501. My biggest concern about the TomTom car kit, assuming they ship to the US, is how well the vent mount would work, since I don't want a windshield mount.

I have found a mount that suits my needs perfectly, when you don't
require it the unit slides into the small cubby below the radio.
It comes with vent mounts and can be fitted to a goose neck also
I stopped in at an automotive clearance/retailer and they were on for
$1.99.
It allows the keyboard to be used in the car also so does have to
be taken out of my PDair case.
I use the AC/USB charger in the Caliber as it has built-in 150 watt
inverter.

Nice mount bigstr. By the way, when I plug my Advantage into the cigarette lighter, it interferes with the AM radio. It bugs the crap outta me. Any idea what I can do?

Yes happy with mount, finally read the piece of paper that came with it
and it was originally a cd player mobile mount, then came Ipod.

Is your cigarette lighter direct to 7501?
I never tried that as my Dodge Caliber came with an DC to AC
converter and all I was using it for was charging my cellfone,I
haven't noticed any interference but then again I wasn't really
looking or listening for it.
I would suspect a filter might remedy the problem.

While we are on the 7501 you may want to try this app for the
fun of it,it works with wifi connection.

I thought WLS, WBBM or AM1000 always sounded full of static...:hide:
After all these years I can still remember those stations and Kevin Matthews...
