Setting the Advantage for GPS

After much trial and error users on xda dev have come up
with settings for the internal gps that results in quick lock
on of sat sigs.
The 7501 uses com 5 for serial gps data and that was what
I was using with VisualGPSce,MapPoint Pocket Maps and
Google Maps. However it seemed slow to aquire and lock on
even out in the clear.
Due to the odd software/com management built in to the
Advantage if you set External GPS to:
GPS program port= Com 8
GPS hardware port=Com 4 @ 38400 baud
Access=CHECKMARK Manage GPS automatically

Then set your individual GPS apps to Com 8 @ 38400
it appears to aquire faster and lock on sooner.

I have spent quite a bit of time experimenting with the 7501
built in GPS and as posted previous the settings of P8 and
H 4 @38400 with Auto Management appear to br the best
overall.
However in trying different apps I installed NoniGPSPlot which
is a free app and after setup you can easily play with the port
and hardware/baud setting to verify with works the best for
your gratification.
Overall a neat app.
