Okay, how many of you have been pestering your local area rep or calling daily to hopefully get some kind of juicy tidbit of information as to WHEN in the HELL they are going to release this little baby!!! Maybe some of you are like me and have been WAITING FOR FREAKIN' EVER for the Hermes to be released. The TyTin (or however it is spelled) has been released at a staggering 739.00! Whoa! And other than that Cingular has reportedly dropped the front facing camera, it appears to be the same. So can we expect pricing to be 499? 399? Cmon Cingular! TELL US ALREADY! The cat's out of the bag and you let it out, now Tell us something! What I think we should all do is start pestering them daily until one of them cracks! So let's all join ranks and WEASEL as much information as we can and post what you find here.



Well, sorry to rant. I think I'll go double up on my Prozac and up my voltage. See ya!

Engadget has an "In the wild report" on the Cingular 8525 with pictures dated is 8/30/2006.

I hope it comes soon, and isn't toooooo expensive.

Well, the 3125 dropped in on Cingular today so maybe we are very close to the 8525!

Yeah, I've not seen any real indication as to when it will be available. I've just seen/heard speculation that it will be the beginning of December. I had a Cingular (real live offical store, not an "Authorized Agent") say next year.

Oh well. It'll be an Post Christmas - Christamas present for myself then....

You know it's too bad that they dropped the front facing camera. That would have been a really great feature. But I can't wait to get my hands on one of these phones.

Is everyone excited? I know I am. I have just ordered a new Scandisk 2gb microSD to get ready for my new 8525. If all that I can find is correct ( This coming from Cingular's site) the 8525 should be released tomorrow. I checked with my local Cingular store and they confirm it should be in there store this week. I will miss the nice screen of my 4705 but from what I have read this new device should make up the difference.

yup i bought the same one.. 2 gigs... from amazon... just got my case and car mount and cables from boxwave today...
